Our trip to Austin turned out to be a great success. We met with Gary & India Rassner-Donovan who welcomed us into their home and shared their wonderful stories of snakes and the joys of raising backyard chickens.Living well outside the city limits, Gary and India are blessed with a bountiful population of wild poisonous snakes whom they happily share the land with. But it does make for interesting encounters, especially when you add chickens and a coop full of eggs to the mix.
Not only did we thoroughly enjoy the shoot in Texas, but we also made some wonderful new friends too. That’s one of the real pleasures of producing films…getting to meet and work with so many great people.
