"Chickens" Returns to SLO, California

This Sunday Mad City Chickens returns for a public screening in San Luis Obispo, California. The documentary will play at 4:15 pm on April 24th at the SLO Library, Osos and Palm. It is showing as part of a mini film festival being presented by Hope Dance Films.

Madison Earth Day Screening This Saturday!

Come on out April 23rd for the Madison Earth Day public screening of Mad City Chickens. Sponsored by the Madison Public Library, the screening will start at 2:00pm and will be held at the Pinney Branch Library, 204 Cottage Grove Road in Madison, WI.

Both of the filmmakers will be in attendance to introduce the film and do a Q and A afterward.

Mad City Chickens returns on April 23rd to Phillipsburg New Jersey for another Earth Day Public Screening presented by Perfect Christmas Tree Farm - 10:00am - 3:00pm at the Perfect Christmas Tree Farm, 999 US 22. It's just a a short drive from both New York City and Philadelphia!

Strindberg Project

In our ongoing search for potential story ideas that can be turned into short films, Robert is back collaborating with Colin Cameron, this time on a short film featuring Colin as the 19th century Swedish playwright, novelist, and essayist--August Strindberg.

Colin is a Strindberg buff and has an idea for a short mockumentary film script. The piece takes place in 1910, two years before the famous playwright passed away. Robert in turn has added his own modern twist to the tale.

We will have our first story meeting in the next couple of days.

Mad City Chickens will play for the first time in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area on April 7th in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota. The public screening is presented by Inver Hills Community College, 2500 East 80th Street.
